2.11 发音

英语发音不是只看字母。

同一个字母，在不同单词里可能有不同声音。有些字母会发音，有些字母可能不发音。对初学者来说，不需要一开始就追求完美发音，先学会听、模仿、重复，再慢慢变清楚。

这一节，我们会学习一些最基础的英语发音表达，并练习如何谈论声音、单词和发音。

发音的第一步是听。

5. 字母名字和字母声音

英语里，字母的名字和它在单词里的声音可能不一样。

The letter is C.	这个字母是 C。
The sound is /k/.	这个声音是 /k/。
C is for cat.	C 代表 cat。

Letter + is for + word.	字母 + 代表 + 单词。

注意：

字母 C 的名字是 C，但在 cat 里，它发 /k/ 的声音。所以发音学习要听声音，不只是看字母。

6. 简单音节

有些单词可以分成几个小部分来读。

这里的分法是给初学者练习节奏用的，不是严格音标分析。先让嘴巴动起来，再慢慢精确。

7. 说“容易 / 难发音”

你可以描述一个单词好不好读。
