12.7 一本好书

一本好书可以带人去很远的地方。

我们坐在房间里，却可以走进森林、城市、海洋、过去和未来。阅读不只是认识单词，也是在认识人物、故事、想法和世界。英语里，A Good Read 的意思是“一本好读的书 / 一次好的阅读体验”。

这一节，我们会学习如何谈论书、阅读习惯、喜欢的故事，以及一本好书能带给我们什么。

1. 阅读词汇

先学习一些和阅读有关的基础词汇。

注意：

read 的现在式和过去式拼写一样，但发音不同。

第一句的 read 发音接近 “reed”。第二句的 read 发音接近 “red”。

2. 问“你喜欢读什么？”

想问别人阅读喜好，可以说：

3. 书的类型

不同的人喜欢不同类型的书。

5. 角色：characters

故事里通常有人物或角色。

阅读不只是看文字。它也能帮助我们学习和思考。

7. 说“我正在读……”

谈论现在正在读的书，可以用现在进行时。

8. 过去读过的书

如果要说过去读过一本书，可以用过去式。

注意：

read 的过去式拼写还是 read，但发音变了。这是一个看起来安静、读起来变脸的单词。

9. 推荐一本书

如果你想推荐一本书，可以用这些句子。
